When you are interviewing for more than one job, what is the best way to juggle job offers?

I am applying for 3 jobs that I would have a good shot at getting. Not to put the cart before the horse, but what is the proper thing to do if you get a job offer, but you are still waiting to hear on the results of another interview? Is it okay to ';think about the offer'; and for how long?
