Where might an entry-level position involving writing of any kind be located?

I love to write! Anything and everything, even if it's just simply the art of using a pen. I am attempting to write my first book. I believe there is a job out there that will allow me to do what I love along with make some cash. An opportunity to utilize my writing skills and to have the priveledge to work under, preferably an individual vs. levels of management, whom is able and willing to offer guidance and possibly inspiration would be ideal! Any idea imaginable would be greatly appreciated. Unusual, crazy, grotesque, off-the-wall, ';who would've ever thought'; kind of ideas are more than welcome!
